Our Manifesto

Who are we?

ROTOR was born from a conviction: a frame can be much more than an accessory.

We design eyewear where design, material, and mechanics meet. Our approach draws inspiration from the world of high watchmaking: a taste for precision, attention to proportions, and the idea that an almost invisible detail can define an entire object.

Each collection is designed around the same pursuit: creating instantly recognizable frames without needing to show their name.

The origin of the name

Why ROTOR?

Because our name reflects our approach to designing a frame.

In mechanical watchmaking, the rotor is an oscillating weight whose movement helps to bring the mechanism to life.

We chose this name for what it represents: movement, precision, and mechanics revealed in the details.

This inspiration is found even in our frames, where certain elements borrow from the aesthetic and mechanical vocabulary of watchmaking.

ROTOR is not a watch that you wear on your wrist.
It’s another way of wearing time.
